EL NIDO
We address the problem of teenage pregnancy by working to improve the living conditions of young mothers and their children through programs that promote comprehensive development and social non-exclusion.
We are a non-governmental, social non-profit program of the ZonaJ Foundation. We promote the dignity and solidarity of all people, the protection of the rights of teenage mothers and their children, who suffer from poverty, exclusion and inequality. Through interventions that allow for comprehensive support during pre and postpartum, we invest in the development of their physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual capacities, as well as their parenting skills to equip them to face the challenges ahead with confidence, self-esteem and with a hope found in Jesus Christ as a model of how to live.

HOW DO WE DO IT?
PHASE 1
This is the entry point into the program that seeks to cultivate healthy foundations in adolescents, in their physical, psycho-affective and spiritual areas, that will allow them to grow and embrace this beautiful new life as mothers.
PHASE 2
The emphasis of this phase is to strengthen the bond between mother and child by promoting adequate stimulation in the cognitive, language, psychomotor, and socio-affective development of children.
PHASE 3
In this phase, the first objective is for the young mothers who have not finished their studies to rejoin the educational system. The second objective is for these mothers to acquire the necessary skills to enter the workforce or discover a way to be economically self sufficient.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
HEALTH & WELLNESS
Encouraging breastfeeding, enabling access and assistance to medical appointments for mother and child including vaccinations and family planning. We focus on the integral development of the child.
END OF POVERTY
Fostering the resilience of adolescent mothers, so that they incorporate and participate in society in order to generate decent and stable incomes to overcome poverty.
QUALITY EDUCATION
We urge teenage girls to finish their secondary education.
GENDER EQUALITY
Through training and workshops on entrepreneurship and self-improvement, we promote the empowerment of women and gender equality.

Educate 2 Adolescent Mothers
This gift will aid two mothers to finish their school education is a gift like no other. This will equip girls with the skills, self-confidence, and knowledge necessary to escape poverty and adversity and reach their goals in life.
Newborn Kit
This gift helps give vulnerable babies a solid, healthy start - removing barriers by providing the opportunity to have what it takes to care for and protect this little life.
Food Kit
This gift helps us protect and preserve the health and life of pregnant, lactating mothers and their babies. This kit will give them the opportunity to have the basic foods required for their growth and development and thus fight hunger and infant mortality.
Family Planning Kit
This kit will provide comprehensive care that promotes the exercise of sexual and reproductive rights, guaranteeing access to information and methods of contraception. This is vital for the prevention of subsequent pregnancy during adolescence which deepens the social vulnerability of the adolescent mother and her children that contributes to perpetuating a cycle of poverty.
Prenatal Checkups
This gift will allow a mother to start her pregnancy in a healthy and safe way. Prenatal checkups guarantee not only peace of mind for the future mother, but can prevent, diagnose and, in most cases, cure any possible abnormality that may arise for her or the child, this gift is a necessity. You will protect not only the life of a mother, but also that of her baby.
Hygiene Kit
This gift provides hygiene supplies for 25 babies and helps them grow in conditions worthy of equity and respect.
Job Training
